A landscape architect by training, Sara Heinonen lives in Toronto. She lived briefly in Hong Kong back in the day. Her short fiction has appeared in numerous literary journals. She is working on a novel, just like you are, even though short stories are really where it’s at.

Sara Heinonen is a Canadian writer and photographer living in Hamilton, Ontario. Her story collection Dear Leaves, I Miss You All was published by Mansfield Press in 2013. Her fiction has appeared in numerous Canadian literary magazines, including Grain, Event, The Fiddlehead, Taddle Creek, The New Quarterly, and The Dalhousie Review.
